Have you ever heard the name of Titleist? Recentlly, its 910 drivers hit the scene in Scotland. Here are the news from Titleist's home page.

The new Titleist 910 drivers have landed in Scotland, just 500 years or so after the Scots first started swinging sticks.

Twelve Titleist equipment players and European Tour members – Tano Goya, Kenneth Ferrie, Jose Filipe-Lima, Andrew Dodt, Brett Rumford, Rick Kulacz, Seung-yul Noh, Peter O'Malley, Mikko Ilonen, Soren Hansen, Scott Strange and Martin Erlandsson – put the new titleist 910 d2 driver and titleist 910 d3 driver in play this week at the Barclays Scottish Open after only a couple days of testing on the range at Loch Lomond.

(Last week, 15 PGA Tour players used the titleist 910 d2 driver and titleist 910 d3 driver in competition at the AT&T Classic, while Adam Scott and Geoff Ogilvy debuted their 910s at the European Tour's Alstom Open de France.)

A couple weeks ago, Jose Filipe-Lima was fitted for a 909D2 (9.5) with an Oban Revenge 60-gram X-Stiff Shaft. He received his new  titleist 910 d2 sale with the same specs Tuesday morning at Loch Lomond. After three shots, Filipe-Lima turned around and proclaimed, "That's in the bag."

Soren Hansen, currently 34th in Driving Accuracy on the European Tour, tried the new 910 titleist golf clubs for sale a couple weeks ago at the Titleist Performance Institute in Oceanside, Calif., and had been anxiously awaiting the arrival of his 910 ever since. After working with Larry Bobka (Vice President, Titleist Tour Promotions) earlier this week, Hansen put his new 910D3 (9.5) in the bag, replacing his Titleist 905R driver. (Hansen also worked this week with Bob Vokey, who is in the middle of his two-week European Tour visit.)

Andrew Dodt, winner of February's Avantha Masters, knew after only a few swings that the 910 would remain in his bag. His ballspeed clocked in around 173-176 mph.

Titleist Tour Support Vehicle (TTSV) staffers said the Titleist equipment players at Loch Lomond "loved the sound and the feel of the driver," and reported ballspeeds to be up between 2-4 mph on average.
