Hello! This is Barb Short, this year's regatta organizer and scorer for the event.

12 boats have started the first race of the regatta under the direction of PRO Chip Short.

I will be posting updates and scores as information becomes available so you can follow the action.

My bad, there are 13 boats racing. First race is in the bag. First place goes to Mark and Lisa Allen with Joe Healy and Mandy Merritt in second place.

Race 3 is underway. I have created a couple of threads to help keep information sorted out. There is now a thread for Preliminary Results and a thread for video footage. We're fortunate enough to have a local e-journalist on the race committee boat today so we might get some fun video for you to watch. So far he sent me the start of the first race, go check it out!

This is just for fun. I walked out on the jetty/dock and snapped a photo of a couple starfish with my phone.

4 races today. You can find today's preliminary results over on that thread. All the boats are in and now it's time for beer and lies, er, I mean racing stories.

Everybody is chowing down on homemade baked ziti dinner tonight here at the clubhouse. Building up their carb load for a long day of racing tomorrow!
